📅 I'm Shaking Things Up This Fall

My full content schedule...

In this week's P.O. Box:

  • My content schedule for the Fall

  • Stream roundup: Week 1 DFS is here

  • On my radar: FAABulous, Sim Wars

Hot best ball summer might be coming to a close, but there’s no time to come up for air with the Week 1 main slate kicking off on Sunday.

I often get requests to post my full in-season schedule somewhere, so this seems like a good place to do it.

There are some changes and tweaks to my schedule this year compared to last year that I explain below.

Here is where you can find me this Fall…

☕️ A new-look Monday morning show

For years I’ve spent Monday mornings in-season reviewing my shitty DFS lineups, but this year we are changing things up a bit with the newly titled “Pete’s Pourtfolio Review” (h/t Jonathan). We’ll still be going live at 10am and reviewing shitty DFS lineups, but I’m expanding the show to include reviews of my best ball portfolio and Weekly Winners sweats. Everyone is curious to see how all of these streamed teams do, so we’ll be leaning into it—for better or worse. You can thank the FBI for calling off the watch dogs, btw.

🚢 Ship Chasing moves to Thursday nights

We are swapping out our long-running Wednesday night waiver show for Thursday Night Football watch parties presented by Underdog. There will be special guests, giveaways, pick ‘em sweats, high stakes team reviews, and adult beverages. I know some people are disappointed to see the waiver show go, but you need to trust us on this—the #ShipCast is going to be exponentially more fun. Ship Chasing is at its best when we are throwing parties and that’s exactly what we are going to do for the next 16 Thursdays.

⏰ A new show on the Underdog Fantasy channel

Immediately following my weekly DFS strategy show with JMToWin (“Block Party”), I’ll be bouncing over to the Underdog Daily channel every Friday at 3pm ET to host a TGIF/happy hour show with the Badge Bros called “Off & On The Clock.” We’ll be sliding into the weekend early with Battle Royale drafts, daily strategy thoughts, and pick ‘em builds.

🔒️ Premium shows for Youtube Members

Best Ball After Dark was such a hit, that I’m going to keep it rolling in-season on Saturday nights. I’ll continue to bring on guests from around the fantasy industry for a long form interview followed by building a couple DFS lineups and/or drafting some Underdog teams.

In addition, I’ll be bringing back the Sunday AM DFS Crams at 10:30am ET to run through the slate, discuss overnight news, survey the latest GPP steam, and share my favorite tournament plays.

Up until now, I’ve been letting YouTube members at any level get access to the premium content, but I’m going to be gating things by tier going forward (so if you are on Randomizer Royalty or Club VIP and want access to the premium videos, you’ll need to upgrade). Here’s how it will work:

  • Sunday AM VIP Cram

  • Fantasy After Dark shows

  • Private DFS discord channel

  • Discounted merch

  • Fantasy After Dark shows

  • Private Best Ball discord channel

  • Discounted merch

The membership tiers are nested, so if you are a Hand Builder & Opto Bro, you get access to everything (including all of the other private Discord channels). It’ll end up being roughly 8 shows a month for that top tier (4 Crams, 4 After Darks) so it breaks down to $1/show. If you don’t care about the Crams and only want the interview After Dark shows, you can save $1/month with the Value Hound tier.

✍️ Misc. updates

* I’ll be writing the Fantasy Life newsletter every Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday and also filing a weekly “Hidden Gems” piece for the site on Fridays featuring my favorite value plays in daily contests.

* I’ve seen a lot of people asking about Tilt Space, but it sadly won’t be coming back. All three of us have a ton of new responsibilities this year and it’s just not in the cards. For me, the show falls directly during April’s bed time and that is a part of my day that I refuse to miss for #content. The #ShipCast on Thursdays will have a lot of similar vibes to Tilt Space and both Leone & Holka have open invites to join us on there throughout the season.

* Splash Play is currently TBD. There are a lot of moving pieces right now after we lost our sponsor, but I’m hoping to make it work. In the meantime, Spags will be holding down the fort on the main Splash Play channel and I can’t recommend it enough. Also, be sure to check out the launch of his new app, Probly. You can get updates on it in his weekly newsletter as well:

📺 BBM4 Drafts: #144-150. We did it. 150 streamed drafts (or was it 525,600?), including a fast, boozy finish and an April appearance:

🏆️ How To Win At NFL DFS In 2023 w/ JMToWin. The NFL DFS season is back and JMToWin from One Week Season returns to discuss what it takes to win at DFS in 2023, his lineup building process, contest selection, bankroll management, how to evaluate your DFS play, how to utilize ownership projections, and how to specifically get ready for the Week 1 slate.

🤯 3 BOLD Fantasy Predictions. This week at Fantasy Life I shared three spicy hot takes, broke down the Travis Kelce injury, and discussed 4 rookies who are primed for fast starts.

💪 The Week 1 Swolecast. We tried to convince Tuttle we were doing another best ball draft before falling back into the familiar rhythms of sloppily reviewing the week’s DFS slate.

🚢 A $2500 high stakes NFFC draft with Mike Leone. We drafted our final streamed high stakes team on Wednesday—a NFFC Super Team ($2500 entry). We zigged and zagged through the early rounds, alternating RBs and WRs, before debating some olds and whether Dalton Kincaid is a good pick.

🍺 A Weekly Winners Bachelor Party. The Club drafts a final Weekly Winners team on Underdog Fantasy before Andy and Clay get married and also discuss some Week 1 Battle Royale strategy.

The Ship Chasing crew tapped Stephanie Miller to run point on all of our waivers for managed leagues this year and we are very stoked to have her on board (because, frankly, we are a disaster at when left to our own devices). Steph is an extremely sharp fantasy player, who also be sharing her weekly FAAB recommendations in her new weekly newsletter. Subscribe here:

No LOLz this week because I am in Vegas, but the Sim Wars continue to heat up. We’ll be discussing on next week’s show…

I’ll be back in the saddle Sunday at 1030am et for the Week 1 DFS Cram. See ya then:
