In this week's P.O. Box:
The seals get one home
Content roundup: Week 10 prep
On Tap: After Dark, Week 10 Cram & ShipCast
Book Club: Churchill
It has been a rough season for me DFS-wise. I haven’t had any big hits, much less any fun sweats.
Fortunately, I do really enjoy the process of putting together the puzzle pieces each week and drafting teams. I’ve also built up a decent amount of good habits (and calluses) over the years that prevent the tilt from negatively impacting me too much.
But I’m still very much human and I still would very much like to put something into the Win column.
It didn’t come in the form of a DFS bink, but the Week 9 ShipCast was the most fun I’ve had so far this season.
We put together a 5-leg pick’em entry this week (one more leg than usual thanks to Leone’s contribution) and it immediately got off to a hot start.
But then things got dark. What went from looking like an easy 5/5 hit for 30x turned into a nightmare scenario with the Chiefs struggling and Rashee Rice—the final leg of our entry—looking like he wasn’t going to clear his 15.25-fantasy point number.
As far as what happened next, I’ll let Davis do the play by play:
Here’s to hoping we can keep those vibes (and the green) rolling into Week 10…
