Content roundup
After Dark on tap
Book Club update
It’s been an insane week for So You Think You Can Tout. Let me do my best to catch you up to speed on everything that has gone down since we sent last week’s trip recap…
Friday - 2 Sets of Duos on After Dark
Per a fan vote, two of our eight pairs from Duo Challenge week—Alex Cupps & Curtrambus + Emo Cowboy & Nathaniel Wright—joined us for a special After Dark interview. Nathaniel’s mom stole the show after she crashed the stream and started slinging fun takes about the show. Cupps & Curtrambus had no idea what was about to come on Monday…
Monday - The Duo Challenge episode drops
8 duos. 2 legends (Adam Levitan and Evan Silva) judging their submission videos. 1 act of betrayal…
If you haven’t watched yet—stop reading here—and come back after…
The video, which also includes so much good advice for content creation, cut us down to 11. Due to subpar submissions, we lost Rickadoozle & Jeary and Chad Candles & Trevor Glisson, as well as Brian Hartman (thanks to Zak’s betrayal in the Prisoner’s dilemma). All five of them joined myself and Mike Zakarian for some surprisingly emotional exit interviews on a new recap show called About The Touts.
That left us with one more spot to get us down to 10. A polarizing score from Levitan put Cupps & Rambus on the bubble and the fans would be forced to choose who survived via a 24 hour vote in the comments section…
Tuesday - Vote & Survivor Week Announced
Considering how many fans Rambus had won over, I was somewhat surprised that Cupps won in a landslide:

Fortunately, Rambus seems undeterred. He launched a TikTok and appears ready to put in the work. I’ll be following closely and rooting for him.
But before the dust had even settled on the vote, we moved quickly to announcing the next challenge…
Survivor week! Streamers vs. Schemers. 2 tribes of 5. One tribal council on tap.
For their challenge, the streamers will be forced to scheme (create a long-form, edited video on redraft or dynasty strategy) while the schemers will be forced to stream (an unedited best ball draft on Underdog).
You can find the full details of the challenge in the video, but our squads immediately went to work.
Wednesday - Editing Gate
With editing a component of the challenge, Mitchell from the Schemers took a shot at the streamers—specifically Emo Cowboy—wanting assurances that they’d be editing their own video this week. Tony Squares also weighed in (said he didn’t care) and then Emo gave his response.
As did Tom, the shadow producer behind all of Emo’s videos in this competition.
Thursday - Content Blitz
After all of the chirping on social media, we got a string of fun content about the contest:
Blizzy (Top 27) & Rickadoozle (Top 16) both happened to win spots on the Bash and we discussed the contest in length and what they learned from the process…
And then later that night those two dropped their Betting Board 4.0 with updated odds for the Final 10.

Their Top 5
Also, Rambus joined Mike Zakarian on About The Touts for an exit interview.
Other Content Notes:
Best Ball Breakfast fell on the one year anniversary of Sam Sherman drafting his winning BBMVI team. Could he do it again? Also: Neil Orfield subbed for Levitan.
On Off & On The Clock, we tackled the Weekly Winners contest and discussed the prize pool and payout structure, players who see a bump in the format, and what winning lineups looked like in 2025.
On Ship Chasing, we drafted the fantasy storylines we think will define the 2026 season. Really fun thought exercise and discussions.
On the Fantasy Life Show, we discussed my top exposures and then drafted a BBM team.
On the Swolecast, we got prepped for the World Cup with an odds preview and a name game that I sucked at.
In an incredible episode of ADP Chasing, the fellas discussed the Nabers softball incident, Jags WRs, and Jakob’s shocking Rachaad White exposure.
In the Fantasy Life Newsletter this week, we reacted to the massive AJB & Garrett trades, rounded up some OTA updates, gave a strong taek on how to play the Jags WRs, and synthesized Dwain’s great new article on injuries.
Finally, After Dark returns tomorrow night (8pm ET) with fantasy sharp and member of the ETR video team, D4VE. Want access to DFS After Dark shows on Saturday & a private DFS Discord channel? Become a Best Ball Value Hounds member on Youtube.

👮 Book #4 for June (10%): London Falling by Patrick Radden Keefe
I love getting back to some gripping non-fiction. Radden Keefe is such a great writer. I was immediately hooked by the cold open and the table setting of all the Russian oligarchs flocking to Britain for the golden visas.
🕷 Book #3 for April (COMPLETED): Children of Time by Adrian Tchaikovsky
💀 Book #2 for February (COMPLETED): Lincoln in the Bardo by George Saunders
🧱 Book #1 for January (COMPLETED): The City and Its Uncertain Walls by Haruki Murakami.
Got a question for me? Reply to this e-mail and I’ll get back to you…
