Live From San Diego

In this week's P.O. Box:

We mostly survived our cross country flight with April to San Diego on Monday.

Although JetBlue met their match with April as far as their unlimited self-service snacks pantry goes (which may or may not have resulted in some puking, but that’s neither here nor there).

This is our first full week of vacation since March 2022 and it’s been a really nice time.

My parents met us out here too, so that’s made it a lot of fun and more enjoyable with an extra set of hands.

We’ve played the hits so far—San Diego Zoo, Coronado Island, the aquarium, California burritos—and I also met up with Kerrane and my college friends for some Omakase and massive frozen beers.

We now got the Underdog Dawg Bowl festivities on tap this weekend, which I’m looking forward to. We’ll have a show live from the event later this afternoon (details down below) and I will be posting some photos/videos on X if you want to scope out the scene.

The only other content from me this week is a new video on the Deposit Kingdom channel about the fascinating situation playing out right now with Travis Hunter. The market has priced him bizarrely and I have some hot taeks on how I think it will play out in fantasy.

🚂 Book #3 for March (50%): Empire of Pain by Patrick Radden Keefe.

I’m right at the point in the book where the author is finally promising us some comeuppance for the Sackler family, which is good because I don’t know how many more pages I can endure of them wiggling out of every single bit of litigation and ownership for their actions.
