Man, it feels like I’m packing a month into every week right now.
Since the last newsletter, I threw Lauren a surprise 40th birthday party, celebrated Father’s Day, released the Debate episode of SYTYCT (and an after-show elimination stream), went to a (scoreless) World Cup game, and facilitated the next tout challenge (a 4-hour mega Bash stream!).
I had been planning Lauren’s party for months and this moment made it all worth it:
All of her best friends from across the country made it out and we had a great dinner party followed by some karaoke.
On Tuesday, Mike Zakarian came up from NY and we made our way over to “Boston” Stadium for the Ghana/England game. The atmosphere was incredible, but it was pretty deflating not to get a goal. Still very glad I went…
