I’m on an unsustainable heater right now on Underdog.

In Week 3, I won a small, $20 single-entry contest on Underdog called the “Victory Formation” for $1,000:

Then in Week 4, I placed two $5 teams in the top ten of the massive Battle Royale contest (67,992 entries) for $8,750 in prizes:

And then in Week 5, we took down “Da Bomb”—a $100, 5-max contest—for a $6,000 hit:

There is zero question that I’m running hotter than the goddamn sun right now, but it’s been particularly fun to win tournaments with the exact plays and macro strategy tips I’ve been touting in the weekly Deposit Kingdom videos.

In Week 4, our bonus gem Jayden Reed was a key fixture on both of those Top 10 BR videos.

And in Week 5, our cover boy Joe Burrow headlined the Da Bomb team.

Naturally, this corresponding tout heater has emboldened me to give a hard sell on these Deposit Kingdom videos, which aren’t getting as many views as I would hope.

I know how this works, though, and I’m sure this will be the week I fall flat on my face.

Still, I think the real value in these videos are the evergreen segments I’ve been doing on macro Battle Royale strategy:

I truly think if you watch those segments—and Off & On The Clock and the Badge Bros shows—you can very quickly be a +EV drafter in these contests.

Haven’t had much time for TV these days, but we did finish the new season of Slow Horses. The finale was particularly entertaining and one of the funnier episodes across all four seasons.

Still, it was probably my least favorite season so far (the plot felt disjointed and we didn’t get near enough Jackson Lamb), but a down season for Slow Horses is still very enjoyable television.

The S5 trailer already got me very hyped. We are onto Bad Monkey next.
