Best ball in the news...
In this week's P.O. Box:
Best ball goes mainstream
Content roundup: Time to correlate
DFS After Dark: Schedule fallout w/ Michael Dubner
What a week for the best ball community.
In the span of five days, we:
Partook in a massive (and mostly unproductive) debate about the future of the game, specifically regarding dynamic rankings tools and draft assistants
Salivated over the release of the NFL Schedule &
Celebrated the return of Underdog to New York
You can say a lot of things about best ballers—and, boy, have a lot of things been said this week—but you certainly can’t question our passion for the game.
I don’t have many words left in me after a long week, so today’s edition is going to be brief.
Before I get to the ICYMI, I did want to remind everyone about a Ship Chasing event we are going to host in Florida later this summer. More details are available in the Ship Chasing channel in the Deposit Kingdom Discord if you are interested:

🐊 Book #4 for May (60%): Gator Country: Deception, Danger, and Alligators in the Everglades by Rebecca Renner
My favorite part of this book might be the vivid descriptions of the Everglades. It reminds me a bit of the book we read last year about Teddy Roosevelt’s expedition into the Amazon, The River of Doubt.
The idea of these massive, unexplored areas that only the locals really understand and know how to navigate is a fascinating dynamic. Renner does a really good job of painting that scene.
🍌 Book #3 for April (COMPLETED): The Fish That Ate the Whale: The Life and Times of America’s Banana King by Rich Cohen
