It got 1.2k views on YouTube and I forgot to post it on Twitter, but it somehow pulled in 60k+ on TikTok, where most of my shorts are normally lucky to clear 300 views.

It was a gentle reminder that:

1) Normie fantasy football season is upon us

2) I should probably balance all my inside-baseball, galaxy brain best ball content with some top of funnel stuff. It’s something I’ve discussed on Best Ball After Dark with two fantasy YouTube whiz kids, Nick Ercolano and Ron Strewart, and also previously grappled with in this newsletter:

And while I should be in the lab working on a THIS YEAR’S RHAMONDRE STEVENSON video (actually, you know what, I am going to make that for Fantasy Life right when I’m done with this), I’ve instead decided to direct my efforts to a historic endeavor.

That’s right, I’m talking about The World’s Fastest Slow Draft:

I figured it's time to put my nimble fingers to work (they’ve been battle tested on Randomizer streams and when drafting with the notoriously cryptic Shawn Siegele) and make history.

To do so, I’ve gathered 11 of the quickest twitch drafters in the Deposit Kingdom to help me enter the record books as we aim to complete an 18-round slow draft with an 8 hour clock...

IN LESS THAN 18 MINUTES

To meet this goal, every pick will need to be less than 5 seconds. They must also be all manually selected, no auto pilot short cuts.

The teams must be drafted well, too. The viewers will comment on who drafted the best team in the comments after the show and the winner will get a prize.

☣️ Tough convos with Will Jaffe. This week on LOLZ poker play and DFS/best ball dabbler, Will Jaffe, joins us to discuss poker scandals, getting into DFS, and dilemmas with making content and working with brands.

🎩 Pros vs. Joes Draft. Competed in the annual tournament hosted by Fantasy Mojo. Drafted a fun one, despite starting with three non-WRs. Ben & Shawn also drafted theirs on Ship Chasing on Tuesday night and had some hilariously indecisive moments.

We’re ramping up our drafting on Ship Chasing with the season fast approaching.

On Wednesday, we kicked off a new partnership with NFFC (third-round reversal) with a truly crazy 34-round draft that tests every limit of your depth chart knowledge and physical stamina:
