In this week's P.O. Box:
Hyrox race
Week 5 Free roll
Week 5 DFS prep
I have my Hyrox race in Boston this morning.
I had a goal to do some kind of race like this at the top of the year and then waited way too long to start training for it.
Still, I trained hard these past two months and felt ready to rock…
Then I woke up sick on Wednesday morning. Ugh.
I feel fine today, and I was going to be tapering this week anyways, but it certainly has me feeling more nervous than I wanted to be.
I have some ballpark ranges for times that I think would be good, but I honestly have no idea what to expect for my first one.
The biggest note I’m giving myself is not to start too fast, which will be difficult to do with the atmosphere and adrenaline.
I’ll report back next week with a full breakdown of how it went…
