DFS Masterclass...
In this week's P.O. Box:
Underdog Masterclass
Content roundup: Best Ball Bros & Truth Serum!
On Tap: One final Best Ball Breakfast
Book Club: Playworld
In 2024, I found my first DFS success on Underdog, placing two teams in the Top 10 of the large Battle Royale contest.
I then followed it up with a monster DFS season last fall.
Within the first five weeks of the season, I shipped two tournaments and placed two teams in the Top 7 of a tournament with 67,992 entries.
A few weeks later I hit for $20,000 with a second-place Battle Royale team.
After years of being a breakeven player on DraftKings, everything had clicked for me on Underdog. I finally found an edge I could push.
With that wind in my sails, I spent the entire offseason working on a big project with the Badge Bros (Jon and Nez) to help other Underdog players find similar success and it’s finally here:
We constantly get questions like this in the Deposit Kingdom Discord and in our YouTube chats and rarely have the time to do deep dives on these fundamental concepts and strategies:
The Underdog DFS Masterclass is designed to give beginners everything they need to become a profitable player on Underdog, while also equipping intermediate players with valuable 2024 data insights and advanced strategies to take their game to the next level.
The course has 19 different chapters and over 10 hours of roundtable discussions. It can be consumed via text, video, or audio (after enrolling, you’ll immediately get an email to add the entire podcast feed to an app of your choice).
Here are some of my personal highlights:
Concrete contest selection recommendations. We categorize it into four different groups depending on your play style and your bankroll.
What winning lineups looked like in 2024. Data deep dive on both winning teams and Top 1% teams in the large-field Battle Royale contests. These provide actionable takeaways on how to stack and how much to scroll down for uniqueness in 2025.
Strategies for the niche contests. Nez (12-person contests; Dawg Bowl) and Jon (Prime Time Palooza) both get deep in the weeds on how to be successful in the alt contests.
Podcast-style roundtables. Every course chapter includes a long-form conversation where the three of us expand on the nuance of each chapter and share our personal strategic angles.
A living, breathing document. The awesome thing about how this course is hosted is that we can add to it as needed. We have multiple additions already on tap for the first few weeks, including a tutorial on how to leverage swaps.
As a special offer for PO Box subs, use promo code POBOX for 20% off when you enroll at underdogmasterclass.com. This will go away when the season starts, so take advantage of it now if interested…

💸 DEPOSIT KINGDOM: Best Ball Bros 2025. My favorite video to make every year finally dropped on Monday. The feedback has been incredible. Huge shout/out to Zach Lanars (the man responsible for all the incredible visual easter eggs throughout) and Chris Moreno on the edit, as well as Mohawk Creative on the AI bit. And of course, Buck St. Thomas and Sackreligious for the incredible slappy song.
💸 DEPOSIT KINGDOM: 27 BOLD predictions for 2025 fantasy football. The annual truth serum video featuring 26 fantasy analysts and best ball bros also dropped this week. I went terrifyingly bold for my take.
🤓 FANTASY LIFE: Weekly Roundup. This week we highlighted three rookie sleepers to target, news on Jakobi Meyers/Joe Mixon, winners from cutdown day, Adam Thielen trade fallout, the Rashee Rice suspension, and three confusing injury situations.
